Word Reduction

The Word Reduction example we offer is from an actual paper submitted to BioMedES. With a long sentence, the listener or reader may have forgotten the end by the time he has reached the final few words. Long sentences are tedious, and readers often lose the thread of what is being communicated. With short sentences, the listener gets the message quickly and can remember it better; if it easier to remember, it is easier to understand. More powerful communications have succinct sentences and are lucid. The example will show you how effective this can be. If you would like us to check a passage from the text of an article in preparing to see if will help, send it directly to the BioMedES office and we will show you how it might be improved.
